Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous!  For praise from the upright is beautiful.  Praise the LORD with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings.  Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
Psalms 33:1-3

There is nothing like a Spirit-filled worship service!

At The Branch, the music and worship is an essential part of our services.  When you come, you can expect to hear lively and uplifting music, along with many types of appropriate worship, from clapping and raised hands, to even dancing.  These are all biblical expressions of worship – so you’re free to worship as you are comfortable.  Above all else, we endeavor to create an atmosphere of praise that engages God and ushers in His presence into our services.

The Bible describes many wonderful expressions of worship:

We clap our hands and shout unto God, because…
“O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”
Psalm 47:1

We lift our hands in praise, because…
“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”
Psalm 134:2

We lift our voices together in one accord, because…
“They lifted up their voice to God with one accord.”
Acts 4:24

We play musical instruments, because…
“And all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments.”
II Samuel 6:5

We sing with all our hearts, because…
“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”
Psalm 98:4

We dance before the Lord, because…
“Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”
Psalm 149:3
